FAQ's

1.  I am an adult and do not have access to a Counsellor to complete the Counsellor Referral Form.  Do I still need a Counsellor Referral Form?

• Summer School will no longer be accepting adult students. All adult students will need to contact Abbotsford Virtual School or Bakerview Center for Learning if they wish to take any courses.  

2. I do not live in Abbotsford and would like to register for summer school. Am I still able to do so?

• Yes. Please note that we give priority to students in Abbotsford who need to repeat a course required for graduation, Abbotsford students who want to upgrade, and then students from out of district.

3.  How many courses can I register in?

• One, but you can choose an alternate if the class you want is not available.

4.  When will report cards be available?

• Report Cards will be available through MyEd. Please see the Assessments & Report Cards for information.

5. Is there any cost for Summer School?

• Summer school is funded by the Ministry of Education and as such, is free to all students in Grade 9 and under the age of 19 by June 30th of the current year. International students are required to pay a $1,100 enrollment fee, due before the start of classes.
